The company was founded in March 2002. The two directors are Carolyn and George Maniukiewicz.

The company has developed from working mainly with the Public Sector to a portfolio that includes work in the following sectors: Public, Retail, Social Economy, Rural, Oil and Gas, Educational, Manufacturing, Health and Financial.

As the company has grown, various associates have been added, with specialist skills in Human Resources, PR, Property and Accountancy.

Ideas In Partnership works from a local office in Fyvie, but has a UK wide marketplace and has recently won some overseas contracts.  The company hopes to become a dominant player in the Research and Marketing environment.

In 2004, Enterprise Partnership Scotland was founded by Ideas In Partnership, Stronachs, Envalue and Ed Gillespie (ex of SE National).
